I'm having a difficult time reading him after a first date.

I matched with a guy on Tinder who lives very close to me. We texted for a couple of weeks and he was very flirtatious during our texts with a lot of cute and slightly sexual induendos. We met up, had a really great date and clicked pretty well. We met up with two friends of his, they liked me alot and we all had alot of fun. We both ended up getting kind of drunk and ended up having sex later that night. He wanted me to spend the night but I had to go home. He passed out and I left while he was asleep. He texted me first thing the next morning and told me he had a great time and has told me he wants to see me again.

Since then he is still texting me hello every morning and checking in throughout the day and sharing with me what's going on on his day, he is always the one to initiate texts in the morning and its reciprocated by me the rest of the day, but the tone of his texts has changed completely. They're not flirtatious at all anymore, they're on the more serious side and talking about life rather than the playful innuendo laced convo we had before we met. Several times he has still made comments about how he thinks I'm pretty and whatnot.

He has his kids this week but wants to meet up again and even said we should get together at some point and take his and my kids to a local children's museum together.

What should I make of this? I'm kind of confused about the sudden lack of firting but still showing interest in maintaining contact.
