I [16M] Would like feedback from a different community on a girl [16F] I have a crush on

Hey all. I'm really new to Reddit, and don't know much about this place. I figured it was a good place to share my thoughts. Anyways, as you know by now, there's this girl I have a pretty huge crush on at my school. She's currently in my computer class and sits directly behind me, in the row behind me. I've known her since 8th grade, and haven't really considered her as a person I have a crush on until literally like last week. Last semester we had the same history class, and near the beginning of the year I actually sat right next to her (but like I said, I didn't really think much of it).

I honestly can't really tell how she feels about me. She's not out of my league, that's one thing for sure. I'm currently a sophomore in high school, 4.0, A's all my life, involved in school wrestling and track/field, YouTube channel with 4000+ subscribers, etc... I basically consider myself a half-jock half-nerd, since I also love video games and stuff. She's also a sophomore, does cheer for football and basketball, and plays lacrosse (I believe). We come from the same cultural background, so the few conversations we've had have sometimes been about that, our favorite foods and how they're similar, etc.

She complemented me one time on a project I did in Adobe Illustrator (I have good experience in most Adobe things). It was something like "Wow [my name], that looks really good, like really good! It looks professional." I tried my hardest to keep eye contact with her as she was talking, but she was looking at my screen the entire time. I know this is just a simple compliment, but it made me feel pretty happy. She's also just so happy and energetic by nature that it makes me happy just thinking of her.

I feel like I'm in a pretty good spot right now to make a move. I don't want to lose my opportunity with her: just today I overheard her talking in our computer class to someone that next year she is doing part time high school and part time college, so I might not see her at all after this year. She also doesn't have Instagram or Snapchat (I'm 99% sure of this), so the only way I could really connect with her is by manning up and doing it face to face, or by her actual number. Right now I feel like the question isn't "should I go for it", but rather "WHEN do I go for it" and "HOW do I go for it"? I'm thinking something along the lines of making an effort to talk to her in my computer class since my computer teacher is really chill if we're having side conversations. And I'm a good student like I said, so I'm sure she would allow it to a certain extent. I NEED YOUR HELP! This is the first crush I've had that I truly feel a connection with someone. Thanks for reading everyone, and if you have any suggestions PLEASE respond to this. <3

TLDR: girl goes to my school, same grade, same background, share some interests, we're acquaintances at most right now. she has no social media, and next year she might be farther out of my reach. I know I should make a move, but how do I do it, and when?
