NEW Relationship - prior wedding plans as a plus 1

OK, So I met and hit it off with a guy 2 weeks ago. We talked on FB for 6+ months.

Anyways, so like, he's pretty serious after the first date we had on 4/20 (there's since been a lot more - including car shopping.) I'm going with the flow and not trying to get super into a relationship that hasn't even made it to a month.

So I planned on going to a wedding as a plus one back in October. The wedding is next week. I'm going with my best friend, who's a male.

Now, the new boyfriend is sorta flipping out (this is on FB Chat.. can't really tell the anger or upset.) about me being someone's date.

I'm also driving 7 hours to get to Nebraska... so this isn't like I go for an evening of cocktails and dressing up. This is us hanging out and me sleeping on couches. I attended a wedding in Nebraska in October and I slept on the couch and he on his bed.

How do you guys feel if your new girlfriend was someone's date as a plus one to a wedding? It would be totally different had I been in the relationship when asked. I'd be perfectly fine if he was going with his best friend to a wedding! But I know some people just don't like it. Maybe, i'm too trusting...

I'm rambling...

give me your opinions.

EDIT: I went to a show last week and I didn't really care about his opinion on that either.... He got upset about that too.

My Best Friend's girl he was dating dumped him because I was going to the wedding ..... So I really don't care If i get dumped. 7.53 billion people on Earth ... I can find someone to bump uglies and put up with their bullshit (LOL)

EDIT 2: We've just discussed it.. he's calmed down. he's well aware I was in a controlling relationship/ jealousy and I won't put up with that. I will do what I want, when I want and see who I want. He's also aware I left my life for my son and when I have the chance to see any friends I'll do as I please. He can walk away at any time he feels that he's uncomfortable. However, we both communicated our feelings and worked it out. I just hope it stays this way...................................

I'll never put up with that shit again and he knows :)

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. We have more than a year together and we’ve been living together for like 6 months, we get along pretty good and I’m really in love with her, however I can not seem to open up... and I can tell it’s frustrating to her by the way she tells me it bothers her that she feels she’s the only one committed and the one that’s always sharing... My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
