Knock, knock ...

Many women say that they want a "man who can make them laugh". What exactly does this mean? Any advice for how to be more funny?

Have you noticed any differences in what women find funny and what men find funny?

I've tried taking a comedy class, but it was focused on being funny on stage. I'm assuming that telling a bunch of pre-prepared jokes or using self-deprecating humor would make an audience laugh but be a turn-off during a date. Any advice for how to transfer the knowledge and skills from a stage comedy class to real life?
