We had our date last night and if went really well. He's actually 42 so I guessed his age wrong! We are both divorced and have kids, and have some shared interests. It was a great time. We had drinks, pizza and went back to his place as it was close by. I know what i want and i dont like playing games with people, and I wanted to go home with him so I did.

We both had a great time, and when he dropped me back at my car, he said he wanted to see me again! I definitely want to see him again too - he was really fun and the conversation was great, among other things.

Anyway, it was late when i got home, so i waited till this morning to text him that i got home okay. I also let him know i had a really good time. He said he had a really great time, too and was glad i got home ok. I said we should get together again soon, and he said that yes we should. So i told him what days i was free next week, and that he didn't need to answer right away, but to let me know if any of those days works for him and we'd set something up.

That was at 10 this morning and now it's 7 and I'm worried maybe i shouldn't have done that? He initiated our first date, so i thought i would initiate the second. Do i just wait for him to text me back? I'm guessing if I haven't heard from him by tomorrow evening, then I probably won't hear from him again, right? I had a really fun night, and he seemed like he did, too. But I know sometimes these things just end up being one fun night for one reason or another. I'd def like to see him again, though! Dang. Maybe I was too excited.

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
