Husbands, how does your wife/partner support you well?

My husband (both 36) have been married 5 years and struggled with fertility. Since my body bears the physical pain of medications, tests, miscarriages, etc. it’s easy to forget he is in the background nursing the pain of disappointment, too.
I try to be considerate of his feelings. I write him sweet/silly love notes and hide them all over the house, make his favorite meals, and simply just ask how he is doing, etc. what else could your spouse do to be sure your feelings are acknowledged when you’re both under heavy stress?
