Matches who unmatch in 24 hours after initial message

I am struggling with this. I have my profile up online and may be talking/dating a few matches and get other matches making an initial 'hello' type of contact. Has I am busy with life or other dates it may be days before I can get back to people. I have had several men in the past few weeks unmatch if I have no spoken to them in 24 hours or less. Is this too sensitive? Or I am just rude? It doesn't bother me if I get no immediate reply - I get around to unmatching months later, if at all.

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
