Am I wrong for not wanting to hook up with married men?

I mean, some guys have it on their profile. The guy from last night did not. Today, we hit it off and were texting a LOT... he tries to meet tonight, but I already have plans for tonight. He then tells me he is going on holiday for a week... I ask with whom he’s going. “My mom, Lady, and friends”

I immediately asked him if he was married. He admitted he’s married. I ask: ‘Poly?’ He says ‘No’... I ask ‘Swingers?’ He says ‘No’....

WTF? I ask if his wife is aware “she lets me step out some”...

I NOPED ON OUTTA THERE. ABORT. BLOCK.

But, why, guys?? And should I have handled this differently??

EDIT: I just realized I forgot an important detail... as I’m trying to nail down what his ‘status’ is, he asks me for my last name... I refuse. He says, in ALL CAPS, that he’s just trying to save my number. I live in a suburb and have a professional life that puts me in the community spotlight... FUCK NO, I have never met you!! What if he exploited my name, info??

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
