Some cliche love story

my enemy.. who turned into my bestfriend.. turned into my lover.. sounds SO cliche right? It might sound cringey but, it really did happen to me

So back in eigth grade, I really hated this guy named Lucas (not his real name), we were in the same volleyball team (except he was on the men's volleyball team duh), so we trained together alot. He would always bug me, annoy me, and would start crying over petty stuff. The feeling was mutual, because it was evident that he hated me too. So we basically shaded each other for like six months. Adding fuel to the fire, our teammates would ALWAYS tease us to each other. I felt so disgusted.

Fast forward to sports week, I was having alot of problems back around that time, my grandmother was very ill, I was very ill (I was in and out of the hospital) and to top things off my guy bestfriend had left me. His reason? That I was a jealous freak. (This is another story LMFAO). So, I was lonely at that time. I went to the cafeteria to eat lunch, and saw Lucas eating all alone. I decided to sit at his table without saying a word. He just looked at me as if I commited a crime. He asked me what came into my mind that made me sit with him, he even teased me that maybe I had a secret crush on him. He offered me food. I was being quiet and rude the whole time. When I ended up crying, I opened up to him and he was so gentle and understanding. I spent the whole week with him. We got really close when he started tutoring me in math and history, he's really smart, and he's a strict tutor btw, that's where we got real close.

A year and a half passed by, we got closer than ever and we were in the same class already. I started having feelings for him, I confessed to him before christmas and to my luck--- he liked me months before I even started to have feelings for him. He told me that he was afraid that i'd friendzone him, and that he wouldn't reach my standards when infact he met all of them.

We're still young and not ready for a relationship, i'm so glad he isn't forcing me into a relationship. But he already introduced me to his parents as his "future girlfriend" which is really funny to me and cute. He's adorable. I'm lucky to have him. But I still don't know where me and Lucas will head to, but I hope it's a good path!
