If a guy invites me over to his apartment for a second date, does he want sex?

Hi everyone. So I (F21) met this guy (M25) on a dating app last week and we clicked right away on the app and agreed to schedule a date. We met for drinks, and in person it was even better! He is super sweet and nice which is something I am not used to from a guy, which was very refreshing. The date ended up lasting a really long time because we liked being around each other. There was no discussion of sex and he did not act sexual to me in any way. The only move he really made was just hugging me and kissing me goodbye at the end. The reason I say all of this is because he invited me to his apartment for a second date so he could cook for me. He told me what he is gonna cook, and it is something we both mentioned liking to eat on our first date. I don't know if that is a code for trying to get sexual, but with the vibe I got from him on our first date, I do not really see that happening. But still, I am worried that it will happen, and because I'm starting to really like him, I don't want it to happen just yet. My room mate is telling me not to go, but I really want to. If he didn't act sexual at all on the first date, would he flip a sudden switch once he's at his place with me? I'm just really confused as to what to do. Thanks in advance.
