She said she doesn't see me romantically anymore

My ex-girlfriend recently broke up with me saying she didn't see me in a romantic way anymore. She said I was more like a brother to her than a romantic partner. She said that I'm still physically attractive, a nice guy to spend time with, and that I'm still important to her in her life but that she just doesn't want a relationship with me at this point. The only relationships I've had have ended with a girl simply not being interested romantically in me anymore. I don't know if it's me doing something wrong or if I'm just dating the wrong type of people.

I don't tend to have issues with meeting and getting dates with girls, but I seem to struggle with staying in a relationship with them. Any advice on longevity of relationships would be helpful. I ask in dating advice and not relationship advice as I'd like advice on what I can do going forward when meeting new people.

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
