Is it creepy to add a guy, who I think is cute but he doesn’t know me, on Instagram?

He’s a friend of a friend of some people I know distantly... I found his profile accidentally by being a stalker/lurker/creeper. I wasn’t trying to find him because I obviously didn’t know him. He doesn’t know me, I don’t know him. I just think he is cute. Also I’m pretty attractive but sometimes get insecure like what if I come off as too creepy (please don’t give me shit for saying “I’m attractive”.... can’t people just be confident without getting scrutinized on the internet...) His profile is not private, he has less than 1,000 followers, mine is private and I’m hoping he tries to follow me back. Also I am not a teenager. I feel like this stuff would be acceptable to do if you’re young but I am 27, he seems to be the same age or maybe a little bit older.

Please give me honest advice on the situation. Like if this is genuinely a creepy thing to do.... tell me....

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
