Love should be unconditional; our wedding days are supposed to be the happiest of our lives

I’m now scared to get married. I mean I have been out of college for a year now and some of my classmates are engaged, but I don’t know if marriage can work anymore. I say this, because I see too many couples splitting up even long-term ones and that scares me the post. It seems like everyone has been divorced at least once and that those that tied the knot in their twenties are no longer married in their thirties. I’ve just been reading too much about divorce like it’s inevitable. I mean even older couples act like they can’t fix their marriage. I feel like it’s better to avoid all of this, because marriage is your happiest moment.
