I’m not feeling well right now but I’m afraid he will think I’m avoiding him
I have very bad allergy and other associated things; feeling exhausted, snotty, eyes scratching etc. I’ve been dating a guy for almost 5 months and I haven’t seen him since last Friday. He knows I’m not feeling well and he saw that a bit when we last met. I have declined meeting him this last week after he has asked to meet. He has suggested we can just watch a movie together and relax. He knows I’m watching movies on my own.
Deal is that I’m afraid he is thinking I’m avoiding him, or that he will decide to walk away since it’s been almost a week and he may think this isn’t a good enough reason to not meet. He hasn’t expressed this but told me I should take allergy medicine, but it’s not working well. Am my fear irrational? I text him and keep in touch. Today I was the one to suggest to meet but I may have to say no today too.. Would it help if I tell him I do really want to meet but i feel gross and tired and need space? People sometimes use illness as an excuse to start ghosting someone..
