Husband appreciation post.

This is a rough time for me. Today my coffee in my sealed, closed hydroflask fell on the floor. I had almost no coffee because for whatever reason the one at work tastes like dirt. And I had to clean a ton of coffee of the damn floor... I’ve had a constant headache that won’t go away no matter what. I’m super tired and am sleeping very poorly. My grandma might have cancer and I might have to use all of my PTO/ the money I was going to use to pay off the last of my student loans to fly home, board my dogs, and care for her if she needs surgery (he’d come too). She might have the same kind of cancer my grandpa passed away from so I’ve just been panicking since I found out. My dog is limping badly... to be fair this one I’m unsure about because he can run and gets excited about snacks/ dinner he suddenly is 100% okay. But then nothing interesting is happening and he’s back to limping badly. I’m hesitating on taking him to the vet because the last 2 times there was an issue they basically just said he’s a drama queen. I’m trying to finish home renovations because we need to sell soon but I hate home renovations. Our commutes are terrible now that we’ve switched jobs and I can’t. I start work at 6 am and it’s killing me. I’m not a morning person. But if I start later traffic is absolutely ridiculous.

Anyway today I felt like I’d just had it. I’m working on multiple projects at work and I think I bit off too much, I had multiple meetings at work, and the fact that the test results for my grandma’s screening still aren’t available are killing me. I’ve been trying to keep myself occupied but I’m a horribly anxious person.

So I called my husband and his voice is just so relaxing. Without me even asking/ saying anything he asked me about my day/ what was wrong/ if I needed him to get ice cream on his way home. He was going to get his hair cut because he flies out on Friday to go to his sister’s graduation (they take a million photos of everything) but today he’s coming straight home so we can get a banana split. He always knows what I need. I have so much love and appreciation for him.
