Was asked out by a guy who scheduled our date for a week and a half later - haven't heard from him since.

I have not done the dating game in quite some time. Most of the people I either met in person or met up with relatively quickly.

I am in a situation where last week (Thursday) a guy who I met through a friend a while back but have not seen since asked me out. I thought he had meant this past Tuesday, but when I texted him Monday night (after not hearing from him since he asked me out), he told me I misunderstood and he meant this coming Tuesday. Ok, not a big deal. However, he hasn't spoken to me since I text him Sunday to confirm and it was a brief convo about how I was wrong lol. Now I don't usually think it is weird to not really text or talk in advance of a date, especially if its a blind date or online, but usually the in-between time is a few days at most and this is over a week. Is it weird that he's short in response to texts (one-word replies, etc.) and isn't trying to talk at all in advance of the date?
