Should we let someone else in?

My husband (33) and me (25)have been together for 6years. Lately I've been thinking about "trying something new" in the bedroom and turns out he had been too. I suggested inviting another girl to join us. I'm not sure why it appeals to me. He's open to the idea but we're unsure of whether to go for it. We both have one in mind and it'd really just be sex, nothing more. I'd like to invite a guy instead at some point but he's not very open to that! We're quite convinced we'll be just fine. Thoughts?
