Ever have a longtime friend 'discover' they like you?

Anyone ever have close female friends who you knew/known in your 20s come back in your 30s because they developed feelings over time? As in, you asked them out early on, they said no and you two stayed as good friends over time as mature adults. Not the scenario of being friends because you still have feelings but because she is a nice person to know. Then when life clears up for her a bit more realizes she has feelings for you?
