So I'm 16 and I need some help...

Hi! So this is my first Reddit post, so sorry if it's a little weird. I'm still trying to figure everything out. If this is the wrong place to post this someone tell me and I'll fix it :'''0

But uh... Yeah! I need some like... Major help.

See, I'm homeschooled by my mom. I take online classes and don't really get a chance to get out of the house much to talk to other people my age. So I've really only got the internet to help me out as far as socializing goes. And I've been really lonely and wanting to maybe start dating and looking for a relationship or something.

So today I was like: "Hey I could just get a dating app."

So I looked up how old you have to be to use tinder and the top result said 13+ so I got really excited. I signed up with my number after asking my mom, and got a shower and stuff so I could take a nice pfp. And I was looking forward to maybe finally at least starting to date, even though it's really hard with my anxiety.

Buuuut turns out it had been changed apparently. And you have to be 18+, and the top result was wrong. Which I guess was partly my fault but still. Kinda disappointing.

So... I wanted to ask, are there any decent dating apps that allow teens? Or anything that isn't riddled with like, 40 year old dudes? Normally I would just lie about my age but I don't want to filter through and have to guess if someone's is actually an adult or not. Since this is actually something serious that I wanna do. And it's hard when you live in an area like mine on top of anxiety, homeschooling, and all that.

So... Yeah.

That's all I wanted to say. Have a nice day! :D
