Dating in SF

Anybody else here with experience dating in San Francisco? I moved here for work about 18 months ago, and also spent much of my childhood in then Bay Area. While there’s plenty that’s wonderful about the city, dating has felt like a distillation of many of the things I find most superficial, soulless, money-oriented, and confounding about SF as it currently is. I’m on the apps, and match with about 15-20% of the women I like/swipe (30, male, tall, decently attractive, lawyer job). Of those, very few turn into first dates. Of those, I’ve had zero “relationships” of note besides one girl that I dated about eight weeks before we realied we have completely different priorities and goals. What’s irritating isn’t the numbers game, it’s the consistently uninteresting/incompatible quality of the matches. I’ve dated in New York and Boston in my twenties, and it was nothing like this.
