Is this ok?

Is it acceptable to message my crush’s ex girlfriend to ask her questions about the type of person he is? (They broke up YEARS ago and she’s in a long term relationship with someone new).

I feel like she’s a really nice girl & would give it to me straight (his flaws, why they broke up, etc.) because she appears to be very friendly & sweet & approachable. I just would like to know a few things before investing so much time & energy into pursuing someone new who may not even be what I’m looking for, etc. Thoughts? Advice on HOW to approach it/ask it/what specific questions to ask? I’m also going to ask her to keep it between me & her, as this guy doesn’t even know I’m crushing on him, and he may never find out depending on the answers I get from her.

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
