The Baby Dilemma

30m been in only one other LTR and just started seeing this 36f. We met through mutual friends and we got along pretty good. Had a few dates always good times and then she brings up how important it is to have a kid soon. And I get it because we're at that age where everyone getting married and starting a family. Except I'm not ready to do that right now, I definitely want to have kids at least 2 maybe 4 lol. But then after we put it all out there over a phone conversation, we just kind of left it open ended.

This all happened like 2 days ago when we spoke, and she has mentioned on prior dates on how her age bothers her sometimes because she doesn't already have a husband and kid.

Now I understand it's harder for girls, their literally on the clock and pressure from family/society. But man, to somehow expect a guy to commit to having kids so soon...that seems crazy. (More the timing than anything, we've only just started seeing each other)

But she did make it clear that's what she wants more than anything. And the crazy part is I actually like her enough to genuinely consider us making that happen, but not right away, like at least let us get to really know each other more, figure 1-2 years minimum right?

Anyway, now we had plans to meetup with friends this weekend. It's just we're also in this weird place where we both are clearly on different pages, but neither one of us said, "maybe we should stop seeing eachother" or something along those lines.

And no, we haven't had sex yet, so theres that.

If anyone has been in a similar situation. Please comment. I've bothered my friends enough with this baby dilemma lol. Thanks reddit people.

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
