I am wanting to have a 3some with my fiance need advice

This has been a fantasy of mine for a while now and I am hoping to finally make this come true. I'll start from the beginning I guess so I can get the best advice... I'm 31, I'm kind of insecure-ish but I completely trust my fiance to fully respect me when it comes to this adventure. If anyone who has had one could tell me their experience (nothing explicit just, troubles, was it awkward, is it better to have someone you know vs someone you dont, things like that) Just so I can plan and hopefully surprise my fiance.

We have both discussed it and both are on board, it will be MFF (again my fantasy), it would be my first time with a girl so definitely a little nervous about that. I would like to surprise him after work one day with this fun and exciting thing, again, has been discussed and agreed this would be an okay scenario. So please, any advice for me?

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
