Why is he (24m) ignoring me (22f)?

Last spring, I kept running into a guy at a coffee shop at my university that we both frequented fairly often. While I never worked up the courage to talk to him, we would frequently make eye contact and smile at each other. Over the summer I figured out his name, and dm'd him on Instagram, and he ended up asking me out on two dates. I felt like we had great conversations in person and through text but leading up to and after our second date, he became increasingly less responsive to my texts, sometimes taking hours or even a day to get back to me. This made me sad because I figured it meant that he was no longer interested in my but I never expressed that to him.

While we had a good time on our second date, this continued after the date and after a few days I eventually stopped responding to him. This happened probably 3 weeks ago and we haven't spoken since then. While I felt and still feel really interested in him, I felt like he didn't seem too interested in carrying on a conversation via text and I didn't want to keep pushing someone to have a conversation with me that wasn't interested.

This week, the semester started back up again and I ended up running into him on campus today while I was getting a coffee before class. I figured we would end up running into each other because we frequent a lot of the same locations but today it seemed like he was trying everything he could possibly do to ignore me and keep his back turned to me while I was waiting for my coffee.

I'm just a bit lost as to why he's trying really hard to make a point of ignoring me. We never really expressed any serious romantic interests in each other during the time we did see each other, and we never had any animosity towards each other. We simply just faded out of each others lives, but I assumed if we did run into each other on campus, we would at least say hi to each other since we got to know each other quite well over the summer. Is there any reason why he's trying to avoid me? We never had a falling out or expressed any feelings for each other besides casual flirting so I'm not sure what happened.

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
