Playing hard to get or am I coming on too strong?

I met a girl on POF and we went out for a first date on Thursday. I felt like things went really well. The plan was for a game mini golf and dinner. In addition to that we ended up walking around, chatting, playing two games of bowling and then walking some more. The whole date went about 5 hours and I felt like there was mad chemistry. Definitely didn’t feel like 5 hours. As we said our goodnights I asked when I could see her again and she said she needed to check her work schedule. We kissed goodnight, I got lost in the parking lot and she texted me offering me a ride to my car. I agreed, she dropped me off and we smooched once again and told her I had a lot of fun and she said the same. When I got home we texted a bit and she said she was free on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening. I asked what day works for her and her response was “any and all”. Pretty good sign, right? We agreed to hang out the next night for dinner and a movie.

Next night during dinner she seemed distant and disinterested and was commenting on what she was seeing at other tables: “Do you think they’re on a first date? She seems really interested to me” “That guy looked at me when I sat down. He has piercing eyes”. Basically seemed she had more interest everywhere else than me.

We finished dinner but had some time to kill before the movie. We walked to the movie theatre and played some of the arcade games. We also chatted about recent movies and everything seemed ok. Movie ended and the date ended. She said I didn’t have to walk her to her car, but I insisted. I asked her to text me when she got home safe. She didn’t. I checked in to make sure she was ok and said that she just got comfy as soon as she got home. I texted her back telling her I was into her. She said it was quite obvious (lol) and that she supposes I’m alright (winky face).

I asked her if she wanted to hang out after work on Saturday and she said her friends dad had a heart attack and she needs to be with them. I totally took this at face value and offered support. Next day I texted to see how her day was and I get “good. work okay”. I asked if it was busy and I got no response until 7AM the next day saying that her phone died. I did not reply.

Is she possibly trying to slow me down from coming on too strong? I felt like there was a crazy connection during our first night and it seemed to die overnight.

Not sure of my next move. Any input or advice would be appreciated.

TL:DR: Went on two dates with a girl. Crazy chemistry on date #1 and she was distant and flat on date #2. Since telling her I’m into her she has virtually gone radio silent with one word responses to my texts.
