How to deal with date that talks about themselves way too much and does not follow up with my conversation

I’ve been dating a guy for a month. I think I like him on the first sight but then it’s kinda going into a nosedive because he always talk about himself. He would contact me every day, talking about what he does and inviting me to his friends party. I know everything he is doing without even asking. I follow up with his topic and it worked for me for a while but then I started to get exhausted because it’s one/sided conversation... I told him once that I’m not sure if he knows what I like. He admitted it and said ppl have told him that he is a bit self-centered. He has asked me questions once in a while but I feel that once I answered it he never follow up with anything or acknowledge it but quickly diverged to his topics.

Do you think I should talk to him again about this issue in a more explicit way or I should just move on. I do not want to hurt his feeling by simply just disappearing. Thank you :)
