She fell for me the first time we met, I hadn't a clue.

We met on the first day of class, it was her first class in college. She came in late at sat at the back of the class. I realised that she didn't have the sheet the prof had handed out, so I got up went to the front and brought her back a sheet. She thanked me with her eyes.

I didn't know then that she could never have gone up to the front of the class by herself.

I didn't know that she thought I was her knight in shining armour.

I didn't know that she moved her chair to be closer to me, hoping I'd ask her out.

I wouldn't know for months because I was a dummy.

But one day I did ask her out and I found out everything, and then I loved her as much as she loved me.

She's gone now, and I don't know if she still loves me the way I love her. I wish I was still there to be her knight, her prince.
