Need a bit of help after break up

So I've (M) been on a long distance relationship with a girl for 2 years, nevermets. Until yesterday, 5 months after we broke up, when we met irl. We've been staying as friends and I still have feelings for her, but she just doesnt want to get back because thinks we're incompatible. I dont understand it at all but I must respect and suport the decision. When I think in having or falling in love with another girl I just cant figure it out, and if I think about my ex and what we could've been for 10min I get sad. Its been my first relationship and I got the "no it wont happen again ever" (our relationship) a day ago. Any tips on getting past this situation? thanks :)

Edit: I forgot to mention that we still talk, send memes and sometimes play videogames together. This was my first relationship, we're both on our 20s

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now. We hit it off and spent a lot of time together but she began to push our relationship as if there were a time clock for milestones.
