Dates without eating out or drinking [M&F, 30s, married]

So I don't know if this is the right sub for this but my wife [30sF] and I [30sM] are trying to make 2020 a bit of a self care year from both a financial and health perspective. Part of that is we're trying to do (i) no eating out for Jan and (ii) Dryanuary. I'm looking for ways to still make our dates fun since neither one of us particularly enjoys cooking. Specifically I'm looking for ideas about that transition from being out doing something fun to coming home and having to cook or just heat up left overs.

Typically a date for us would be something like a hike followed by brunch, or dinner and a comedy show, or people watching and a few drinks at a bar, or even just going out for dinner. Obviously we could try and get all into making fancy meals, but honestly neither one of us really enjoy cooking. Typically when we get home having eaten and/or had a few drinks it's easy to transition straight to sexy-time. How do you handle that transition and keep it feeling like a special night when you've either got to cook or do left overs? Obviously not a big deal but would love any suggestions.

TL;DR: How do you make date night "special" if you don't like to cook and aren't eating out?
