This whole exchange gave me whiplash.

I'm not sure if my friends have all just been blowing smoke up my ass or if this guy is actually insane, but, regardless, this was overall a very weird interaction and my group chats got some good laughs out of it so I thought I would share...

TLDR from my POV: We had been on one date and then about a week later we hooked up. Met a total of two times. I told him we weren't physically compatible in what I thought was the nicest way possible, he agreed but asked if I wanted to give it another shot, and I gently reiterated that I did not feel any chemistry and was not interested. Then he proceeded to tell me (in several paragraphs) that the real reason it didn't work was because I have bad breath, but if I wanted to try sleeping with him again he'd give me another chance after he watches me brush my teeth. I tell him thanks for the heads up, but no thanks to the offer. He keeps going... And going... And going. Writing and performing two songs about me in the process. One was flattering. The other, sent about a month after our last message, was about my allegedly rancid breath.

Also, I just want to add in that I realize I should have just ignored him instead of allowing myself to get so annoyed... That was very dumb, and I learned my lesson.

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
