Someone used my former-married-date phone number and called me?

Hi guys, I have a random situation here that idk what to do. I met a guy online and after about 2 months of dating, I found out he is still married though separated. I told him we can stay platonic friends since I enjoyed his companionship but nothing more if he's still married which he's agreed to. We keep some light texting daily but haven't met any more time since last month.

Today, someone (saying he worked with him) used his cell phone number to call me and asked for a very similar name to me (like Amy and Tammy). I said they have called the wrong number since that's not my name. It might have a genuine wrong call, but it still bugged me that someone had access to his phone and called me out of all people. I'm not sure what I should do now. Should I text him to notify or just stop all communication altogether?

My only concern is I don't wanna be in the middle of any kind of dramas that come from being his former-uninformed date.

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
