Need some advice on how too meet people and taking the first step

Life is pretty boring since I finished school, now it's just work home and work again. I never really go out besides my Saturday morning walk but that's about it. Idk how I could ever meet someone. I have a bit of social anxiety and I have thought about trying to talk with some girls from RFR but I just cant send a message. One I feel like they would pretty much reject, and second, I worry about if we start talking, idk how to keep convos going. People say to let the girl talk about herself but I feel she would see me as boring if I dont contribute.

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now. We hit it off and spent a lot of time together but she began to push our relationship as if there were a time clock for milestones.
