Hiding and protecting self porn pics/videos

My husband and I are thinking about breaking our long-held rule against taking porny photos and videos of our antics. NOT for sharing, just for our use. Obviously, we live together so something like an external hard drive would be possible but we'd rather not have to deal with moving sd cards all the time. We'd like to have a place that is secure that we can both upload to from our phones and view easily, ideally from different devices, like the cloud but easy to secure from sneaky and curious and sometimes snoopy teenagers. I use a mac, he uses a PC, we have android phones. For example, he was out of town for work and I asked him to take photos. Which he did, and I enjoyed them, but I can't leave them on my phone so I deleted them and would rather have a place to save them easily.

We don't want to use google photos/drive or anything like that that is less secure and definitely not linked to our main accounts. We have kids, and while they are old enough to leave stuff alone, it is not unusual for them to open up a laptop or grab a phone, and they use hubby's computer a lot because it is hooked up to our VR. The teenager likely can get into many things we'd prefer he didn't. What do you do to enjoy taking photos but still protect them? We realize once you start down that road you can't "untake" a photo. We understand that risk. We're just looking to minimize it.
