He never followed through. Should I still see him tomorrow?

I 25F was supposed to see a movie with a guy tonight. He asked me out. He told me he would be free after work. When I asked him what genre he likes, he never responded to that. But continued our texting conversation. Tonight, he texted me talking about how his day was so busy and how he is excited to play a new video game he got. No mention of the movie he asked me out to. So safe to say, I'm assuming it's not gonna happen.

Tomorrow we were supposed to go to this park and hang out and maybe go to a cafe. But now I'm hesitant. If he forgot about a movie, I'm 100% sure he will forget about a day at the park with me. I'm a little hurt and don't want to talk to him right now because I know I'll just say something out of emotion.

This morning he texted me "Good morning beautiful :)" so im assuming he hasn't lost all interest. But I obviously don't know for sure.

Should I still see him tomorrow if he brings it up? Should I ask him in person what happened about the movie? Or let it be? My expectations are on the floor right now and im just confused.

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
