Is there such a thing as a vagina being too small/tight?

My bf is the first sexual partner I’ve had, and I’m also a very short (5’2), slim built girl, while he is well-endowed and has a dick that’s kind of girth-y. The first time we had sex, he said he’d only put the head in but I felt a really intense pain and felt like I was already stuffed. The next times we tried sex he said he’s only put half or just his head in at most but I always feel like it’s the most I could take. So penetration sex for me just doesn’t feel as good and most of the time we’ve just been doing handjobs or oral sex.

I think the hard parts are: 1) he gets very hard when we’re about to have sex and it’s difficult for me to put it in sometimes since it’s not bending. 2) I don’t get very wet and we have tried lube, but we also use condoms every time and I think I don’t really like the rubbery feel of the condom. 3) I can only fit it in when I’m on bottom, when I tried being on top I couldn’t even get his penis inside even if I stretched my legs out very hard.

So Idk what else we should try right now, and I’ve wondered if my vagina was just really small, but then I think if vaginas are meant to birth out babies then mine should definitely still be able to fit a dick in.
