Can becoming active change your menstrual cycle?

Since I became sexually active a couple months ago, my menstrual cycle changed drastically. I didn't get my period for a whole month, finally got it. I adjusted my cycle length in my cycle calculator/calendar by making it longer (it went up to 38 days) and I'm still late. I usually have a consistent period that shows up on the day it's due if not early at times.

No it was not and is not pregnancy.
