Texting between dates, scheduling, and the holidays.

Hey /r/dating_advice,

This past Wednesday I (20M) went on a date with this girl (F20). we went to an old book store and walked around our city for 3 hours. We had to cut it short because both of us had things we had to do so we split up pretty quickly but afterwards I texted her about how I had a good time and she replied the same thing.

I want to go on another day with her, however I just went home (3 hours away) for the holidays and I won't be back until Thursday. I texted her a little bit the day after, just a general good morning and sent her a song because on our date we talked about our favorite artists. She said she would give it a listen and I told her to let me know what she thinks when she does. That has been the extent of our conversation, I don't think either of us are very big texters.

I want to ask her out on a second date but I don't know when I should do it. I feel like setting up a date over a week in advance is wise, and I also don't want to have something else to put on her mind over Christmas. However, I also don't want her to lose interest because we don't talk or we don't have a date set up. Am I overthinking this and should I just schedule a date or what should I do?

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
