Me (16m) and girlfriend (17f) are drifting apart. I don't know what to do

Me and my girlfriend started dating around 5 months ago. We used to talk almost everyday till august where she became pretty busy with her part-time. We still talked then just not as much. We then started to talk less just about a week before school started. And as school started, we barely even talk at all. It's hard to approach her because shes usually surrounded by her friends, whenever I try to talk to her she says a couple things and immediately goes to another friend, and if I ever text her the conversation ends quickly. I don't know if shes going through something right now because she never speaks to me. I feel like shes avoiding me and it really hurts. It's like we don't even know each other anymore. I really want to resolve this somehow but I really don't what to do.

Any help?

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
