Does this guy only want to hookup with me?

So I met this guy on Bumble. He's really cute to me and a sweet guy. But a part of me feels like he wants to just hook up. We went on two dates so far. We got drinks and dinner the first date. We are both attracted to each other physically for sure. We got a little tipsy after the first date and made out.

We had our second date yesterday. He picked me up from my place, and we went to a bar with games and such. It was a lot of fun. Today's my birthday, so he surprised me with a cupcake at the end of the date when he dropped me off. We ended up making out again in his car, and I feel like he wanted to come up to my apartment. I told him I'd invite him up, but it was only the second date. He jokingly said that it's what you're supposed to do on your birthday (aka birthday sex, which he didn't explicitly say). I was just like it's a late Sunday night and I had work today. And he was understanding about it.

He asked if I was free next weekend, and we've been texting since. He calls me 'hot' often and was pretty touchy feely the last time we hung out. His preference on bumble is set to relationship, and yesterday we talked about what we were looking for, and both said relationships. He mentioned he's never been in a long term relationship either. He's 28, but also kind of shy. Or he might just feel nervous around me, idk. Should I hang out with him again, and see what's up? How do I tell if he just want to hit it and quit it?
