Can a fetish turn into a kink? Is it reversible?

For a while I used to not be able to get off to vanilla sex, as I had a fetish that was my only turn on, until recently. Normal sexual desires sorta just showed up. I've been considering cutting down on my porn usage, and was wondering if my normal sexual desires are permanent, or if abstaining from them will make me go back to only being able to get off to my fetish. if this sorta thing has happened to anyone on the sub, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
