Time to unmatch?

I (24) have been writing with this 30-year-old guy for around 2 weeks on tinder. We would exchange messages once a day and I was fine with that because I had also written like that with other guys which eventually asked me to either go on a date or at least to switch to whatsapp (where then we would write more), but this one didn't. So after a few days I asked HIM if he was interested in meeting up and he immediately responded that he thought it was really cool that I (as the woman) asked and that he certainly was interested and he asked if we wanted to meet the following week (this was on Sunday). So I asked him when he'd have time (since as a student I'm much more flexible than him I thought I'd adapt to his schedule). He didn't respond. In an effort to save face I wrote on Wednesday (3 days later!) something along the lines of "I don't have any free time this week anymore but we should look another time, have a great week!". The same day he responded, "oh shit I'm so sorry I didn't see the message, that's a shame. Next week I'm free any day". SO I then told him I'd have to plan my week and I'd get back to him (this might be playing games but I just didn't want to seem too available and eager by immediately asking for a date, especially since I'm rather skeptical about his excuse). After a couple of days I wrote him that I'd be free a week from then and asked him about his day (I was hoping that by me saying I'm free at x he then could be the one to ask for a date this time). Well, It's been 2 days and he hasn't responded. I feel pathetic. The interest is clearly one-sided. Should I wait any longer for an answer, write something or simply unmatch him? thanks guys.
