Orgasms don’t feel good like they should (19F)
Basically, I can’t orgasm properly. Based on my understanding of what a female orgasm is, it’s the contraction of the vagina together with an (intense) pleasurable feeling. I can get my vagina to contract (and after that I’m often no longer turned on), but the feeling is nowhere near what an orgasm seems to feel like for most people. Sometimes there is a somewhat pleasurable feeling, whereas other times it basically feels like nothing or is even kind of a letdown. It feels better during masturbation though. I rarely have this vagina contracting during sex or oral sex, but can get myself to contract through clitoral pressure during masturbation. Based on what I’ve read online and from talking to my gynecologist, a woman’s inability to orgasm usually means she needs to experiment with herself more or be more relaxed during sex. However, I would say I very much enjoy sex and masturbation, feel very comfortable with my partners, and have experience with oral sex and vibrators. I’m happy with my current sex life, but would still like to know whether this is something that other people have experienced, and whether there’s anything I can do to make myself feel more during orgasm.
