DUDE IS IGNORING ME, NEED ADVICE I WILL LOSE MY SHIT

Hello, Reddit world!

So, to get into the point, I have been texting with this guy who i know for quite some time. We have been flirting since 2016 but due to circumstances we hadnt got together. In 2017, we went on a date but it was a really weird period for both of us, so the date ended up with me drinking two bottles of wine because he didnt want to gain any calories ( he had just started hitting the gym to overcome depression problems). We didnt hit it off we were both awkward and I was so drunk i dont even remember the gibberish i told him. After that I tried to avoid contact ( yeah i know, such a bitch move). The thing is throughtout the years we would see each other because of mutual friends. Fastforward to now, we have been texting and I came clean about why I cut things off and we talked about every thing that we couldn't, which impressed me and we flirted hard. He told me he will text me the other day, but he never did and im going crazy right now. I just want to know if it's because he doesn't care at all or is some kind of ego shenanigans. I just want closure. What do you think?

Tl;dr: Me and this dude have prehistory, tells me he will text me, never does.

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
