Opposite shifts , sex "Rut" , anyone else experiencing this issue?

So just like the post asks , how has anyone personally gotten out of a sex rut with their long term partner while working opposite shifts. I am a 25[F] and he is a 29[M] We both work full time jobs different shifts but live together . He leaves around 7am to work and typically gets home around 7pm I work the 2nd shift and get home around 1130pm but by the time I shower and get dressed it is almost midnight and we are both pretty exhausted and we just cuddle and go to sleep . I've been having to pick up a lot of hours at the nursing home I work at and it really isn't helping the issue . We did have sex last Thursday but it wasn't like what we normally do and I felt like he was only doing it because he knows I'm upset over this , we tried again last night and it was starting off amazing we were 69ing and in the heat of the moment I jammed into his tailbone with my elbow switching positions and he snapped at me to be more careful because well it hurt and caught him off guard but it just killed the mood . He apologized and we cuddled and went to bed. Has anyone else experienced this situation and what did you do to fix it ? Do I have to plan sex ? I don't even know anymore. It's just such a frustrating scenario.

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
