How the hell do I [30M) do kegels ?

I have been trying to do them for a week now (had 2 one-day breaks and I am not overdoing it on 'work days'). So far absolutely no progress but worse is that I have no idea what am doing.

I understand that for kegels we should concentrate on two types of pelvic floor muscles.

The one you stop your pee with. And reverse kegel which is the one you use to increase stream of pee (anus tightens doing this).

And honestly I just don't get it. I can't feel those muscles like at all. All I do is some weak-ass squeezes.

But these are pulses. How are you supposed to squeeze and hold that for 5-10 seconds?

I am not in a great shape but I lost over 60 pounds and about 25lbs left until my Goal Weight. I eat pretty clean and drink plenty of water. I can hike/run/bike long distances with no issues. I have also

been going to yoga classes for 8 weeks now and made a very visible progress. We also do a lot of poses

which focuses on pelvic floor (happy baby, mountain and chair poses, butterfly, etc).

So I feel like I should have some idea about how to locate these muscles and how to squeeze and hold them for at least 2-5 seconds instead of just pulsating. But I am just lost. And honestly thinking of giving up. The reason I have started doing them because my erections are rather weak and I don't last long. I also have no idea how my body really works and I thought it will be a fun thing to do. Sadly so far nothing really is happening.

Am I doing something completely wrong?
