Can't make anal work for me no matter how hard I try - 25[m]

I'm writing this post after yet another disappointing attempt at an anal session.

I've been dabbling in anal for years now. First with some fingers, then a prostate massager (was never able to have a prostate orgasm either), and now a dildo. Nothing really seems to work for me though! No matter how many times I use an enema or how much lube I put on the inside and outside of my asshole, no matter how slow or fast I go, it always ends up hurting like I still don't have enough lube and my toys come out with more poop on them then I'm willing to tolerate. I definitely want to be able to enjoy anal and obviously I'm into it since I keep coming back after so many failed attempts, but I really need some advice on how to actually get to a point where I can enjoy it and not just worried about hygiene and pain and leaking and all that other bullshit that comes along with it. I'm very frustrated right now and tempted to just toss all my expensive butt toys and consider myself among the broken butts.

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.
