Why do they intentionally not view my stories?

A guy I’ve been talking to on the regular started leaving me on read. He was SO interested & then out of the blue cut me off. I tried subtly asking but he curved it. He basically breadcrumbs me now. However, he used to watch my snapchat & instagram stories all the time. He definitely doesn’t like my posts anymore. But, why is he intentionally not viewing my story? I feel like it takes more effort to purposely not view than to view it. If nothing happened between us I don’t get it. He follows less than 200 people so I know it’s not that mine is lost in the mix. Even if it is the case, snapchat stories are pretty hard to miss. He will even post stories on instagram & snapchat while I have one going as well. I’ll view his, but he doesn’t dare view mine. I don’t get it at ALL. He even has me on his private story on snapchat, yet he won’t view mine. Like, why put in effort to not view mine? Why doesn’t he just unadd me or unfollow me instead??

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
