Friends with Benefits

I have this friend who I really like and she is having a hard time financially, as a joke I offered to help her, I said I would give her $500, if she would come and have sex with me, which she did the very next day. We're still friends but she is having trouble with the idea because she associates money and sex as ( I don't know I guess prostitution ). I don't think of it like that, we're both adults, were getting what we, sexual, and I'm helping her financially, it seems like a win win. But the other day we were talking about her once thinking about becoming a dancer, and I told her I remember her saying that and I was too scared to tell her I'd give her $500 for a dance. So now she wants to stop having sex and have me give her 500 for a ( lap ) dance. I don't think I can deal with the lap dance, face to face. The lap dance to me seem more degrading than sex. But obviously the sex must weight more on her mind. What are your thoughts?

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
