Is sex even worth it?

I am eighteen years of age, and confess that I have never kissed anyone before, nor have a even hugged the opposite sex. This is because I deliberately choose not to behave sexually, as sex is too distracting and irrelevant to what is important in my life. My plan was to hold out on the idea until I became older, because sex with teenage boys must be dreadful. I'd rather have an experienced lover.

Should I ever have sex? Is it even worth it?

Note: I have orgasmed before, but all it did was make me feel guilty and ashamed. I don't want to feel ashamed again.

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
