I have no idea what to make of this

Hello, my fellow Redditors of r/sex. This is gonna be a long post but I appreciate you taking the time to read this.

First of all, I would like to mention that I am not seeking approval or fishing for compliments from people, I am simply looking for advice. I am an 18-year-old female, I am very beautiful and get attention from both genders no matter their age wherever I go. I'm 5'4, skinny with an hourglass figure, and rocking 30DD. I am also very kind, highly intelligent, and have a good sense of humor so many people feel like I am easy to talk to and I have been described as very likable. I know the description doesn't sound humble but I am mentioning all of this because at our age we think about appearance a lot. Now, let's get on with the story.

Last week I went on vacation and stayed for 8 days. I meet up with a friend of mine and she introduced me to some of her friends. Let's call the guy Alex, he is tall, kind, extremely handsome, and funny (he is 17). We met on my first day there through my friend and we hung out all day. I was trying to make social contacts there and since he had asked for my social media the day before, I asked if he wanted to hang out. He didn't want to go alone with me so we decided to bring another friend along and ended up going clubbing.

Before I continue, this is a crucial part of the story. Alex has during his vacation meet a girl that he is talking to. They are not a couple and are not dating, just talking. She is obsessed with him, toxic, and very possessive. He told me and all our friends that he doesn't consider them to be "serious" or even "exclusive" but that he is thinking about making it serious when his vacation is over (they have been talking for less than a month). He said he wanted to be committed to her when he gets home but that he might be with someone else during his trip cuz it's his vacation and he wants to have fun. This is the first girl he has been talking to and lost his virginity to her before she left to go back home. I have a lot of experience regarding sex and relationships but as you can tell, he doesn't. We will call the girl Bianca (16F).

When we were at the club we were sitting down because I had too much to drink. When we sat down en started to wrap his arms around me and pushed me closer to him and asked me to sit on his lap. I did and then he started making his way down my dress and then began to finger me. I was into it and everything was consensual. I know stuff was complicated with Bianca and knew he was drunk so I asked if he had a girlfriend multiple times and he said no. He said that he was fine with us doing everything except "sex". After a while, he asked if we could go somewhere else so we took some more shots, told our other friend that we were leaving, and then left.

We ended up at the beach and it was like 1:30 in the morning so there were no people around. We went skinny dipping and then had sex on the beach. Since he didn't have much experience with sex I tried to help by initiating foreplay, which kissing is a part of. I noticed that he moved his head so I wouldn't touch his lips and asked if he didn't want to kiss me. He responded by saying that he doesn't like me in that way so I stopped. However, he then without saying anything preceded to when we were in the ocean to stick it in so we ended up having sex. We then left and he couldn't stop smacking my ass and teasing me afterward. He asked me not to tell anyone because he didn't want Bianca to go crazy and people there gossip like crazy. I didn't say anything because I didn't feel like it was my place to do so.

Two days afterward we hung out with the same friend but he left earlier than me and Alex. Everything was fine at the beach but then he got cold and asked me if I could lay next to him so I did. Later, he pulled me closer and wanted to cuddle, so we did. When we got to my house Bianca called and was crying and screaming at him because he "took too long to answer his texts". I could tell that he was sad and upset by the phone call so I said that we didn't need to do anything and that he should head home instead. 2 days later again, we went out with the same friend. Our friend drove the vehicle and Alex was very touchy towards me. He initiated sexual contact and he asked me to straddle him and I went in for a hug. He had other plans so he moved my panties to the side and put it in. When the ride was done we all hung out as usual and then we drove our friend home. He stayed later again and we went to the beach. He was again a bit conflicted if he wanted us to have sex or not. I told him that it was fine if he didn't and that it didn't need to be awkward if he didn't, he decided that he wanted it though. The day after he didn't answer my calls or text, he was active online but didn't bother to read them. Another day goes by and he does the same thing. Later that day I see him and his family at the beach and wave at him, he just looked at me and looked angry. He was always really polite and greeted me so I found that strange. I tried to contact him again since I was leaving and wanted to say goodbye but yet again, he ignored me. I came home 3 days ago and I managed to get him to answer my texts somehow. I asked if he was upset with me cuz I've noticed he has been avoiding me and if we could talk about it. He said that everything was fine and that I should stop asking if it's okay because it's annoying and I shouldn't "overthink" stuff. He then proceeded to make some super awkward small talk and now he is yet again treating me the same way. I told him before I left that we can be friends without it being awkward and that I don't expect a relationship or anything like that to come from the sex which he thought sounded good. I should mention though that it felt like he was trying to convince himself that he would be loyal to Bianca, not me whenever he was telling me he would be but then proceeded to initiate sex with me.

We will meet again next year and I seriously can't figure out what the problem is or how I should proceed. He is trying to avoid me and tries to end conversations by saying short answers you can't ask follow-up questions to.
